Over two months observing silence and darkness in the sub-arctic boreal forests of Norway and Finland, fractals emerged—

How I learned that time slows
on the approach to planet—

& when a large star has burnt
up all of its combustible
substance, it goes out

How in the beginning,

there was only chaos..

Poems

Witnessing:

a violent collision | ice giant | orbiting star | defying relativity | as all that mattered accreted onto infalling plasma | light escaped collapsing core | reaching distant observers

Re-membering:

‘a poet, writer, wife & mom’
‘a nurse with great heart, took his dog everywhere’

what unites us’ as we face a brave new world.
