‘The End of A Binary Star System’ (2026)
was a site-specific poetry installation series examining beginnings and endings and
the boundaries between physical and immaterial loss.
Over two months observing silence, darkness and encounter in the sub-arctic boreal forests of Norway and the Finnish countryside of Hämeenkyrö, fractals in poems, pastel drawings and found objects emerged;
Witnessing
The birth of a fiery universe. Systems of the brink of collapse. ‘A poet and mother’. ‘A nurse with great heart’.
Re-membering
Conditions of the Womb. Figment of the Harvest. Lesson One (of Seven brief lessons of physics). The triumph of humankind-ness.
